Welcome to the Wood Revolution - The Next Generation Building Material!

Wood can no longer be regarded as a building material simply for residential, boutique and cosmetic construction.

With the advent of new materials, manufacturing technologies and design techniques, wood can now be used in large scale construction bringing to the project its unique properties of beauty, sustainability, versatility, durability and affordability.

The Canadian Wood Council has assembled a prestigious international faculty of renowned Architects, Engineers, Researchers and Educators to present Professional Development programs that provide you with the most current information on this new generation of wood materials, design and applications.

All courses are FREE, online, self-paced, available 24/7 for your convenience and qualify for American Institute of Architects, Engineering Institute of Canada and all Canadian Provincial  Architect Associations Professional Development Credits. See Course Catalogue in site menu.....

Welcome to the Wood WORKS! eLearning Center, welcome to designing and building with wood!

Important Notice:

We are creating a new WoodWorks eLearning Website. In doing so we are presently migrating user databases from the old WoodWorks Courseserver eLearning site at http://www.woodworkscourseserver.com into a new WoodWorks Courseserver website. This may be causing issues with some users. If you are having problems registering, logging in or downloading a Certificate of Completion after completing a course please send us a request for support using the Support or Help links.

We will be permanently shutting down the old WoodWorks Courseserver site the morning of December 2nd 2016. We hope to have the new site up by the end of the day December 5th 2016. Thank you for your patience - eMETA Learning Solutions.

Certification & Registration

All courses qualify for American Institute of Architects, Engineering Institute of Canada, BC Association of Architects and all other Canadian Provincial Architect Association continuing education credits. To qualify learners must first take a short automated quiz after completing a course. If successful learners will be able to download a Certificate of Completion.

To access courses you must first register in the Canadian Wood Council's WoodWORKS! eLearning Center (registration is free). Once registered click "Browse Courses" and then enrol in your selected course(s).
