The Canadian Wood Council has assembled a prestigious international faculty of renowned Architects, Engineers, Researchers and Educators to present Professional Development programs that provide you with the most current information on this new generation of wood materials, design and applications.

All courses are FREE, online, self-paced, available 24/7 for your convenience and qualify for American Institute of Architects, Engineering Institute of Canada and all Canadian Provincial Architect Associations Professional Development Credits. Selected courses also qualify for HPO credits. See Course Catalogue in site menu..... To access courses you must first Register  or Login then “Enroll” in selected course.

Coming Spring 2017: The Wood WORKS! eLearning Centre will also serve as an Open Learning Repository for students and educators. The Repository will be one of the most comprehensive resources on wood in construction available on the Internet. There will be three components to the Repository.

  1. Open Courseware: Open access to over 100 courses will be available to students and educators without having to register or enroll in the Wood WORKS! eLearning Centre.
  2. Digital Library: An online library of Learning Objects such as White Papers, Research Documents, PowerPoint Presentations and Videos, many available for download.
  3. Learning Exchange: Industry Professionals, Researchers and Educators are invited to contribute Learning Objects and even Courseware to the Wood WORKS! Open Learning Repository. You will be profiled as author of the learning content. All material submitted is subject to approval by the Canadian Wood Council.
